Who is organizing the
Riyadh Marathon?
The Saudi Sports for All Federation (SFA), with support from the Ministry of Sport, the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, and the Saudi Arabian Athletic Federation.
Who can sign up for the
Riyadh Marathon?
Anybody can participate; there are races for all ages and athletic levels.
What are the different
race distances?
42.2 km (18+), 21.1 km (16+), 10 km (14+), 5 km (all ages, children with adult).
Can I participate as a
person with disabilities?
Yes, please register under the correct category so we can accommodate your needs.
Where can I find my
photos?
You will receive an email after the race with a link to your photos using your bib number.
Is the race open to
children?
Yes, children under 17 can join the 5 km race under parental supervision.
Can I cancel my
registration?
You may cancel, but no refunds will be issued.
How do I confirm my
registration?
You will receive a confirmation email with your QR code.
If I register multiple
people, how are QR codes sent?
Each participant will receive their own email; you can use one email for all if preferred.
Can I transfer my bib
to another runner?
No, bib transfer is not allowed and will result in disqualification.
What if I don’t receive
my confirmation email?

What’s in the race
kit?
Race bib, T-shirt, and bag; medal at the finish line.
What do I need to
collect my race kit?
ID (National ID/Iqama/Passport) and QR code.
Will kits be given on
race morning?
No, kits are not distributed on race day.

start?
05:30 AM Race Village opens
06:20 AM 42KM starts (Elite)

storage?
Yes, a secure area at the race village tagged with your bib number.
Are there changing
areas?
No, changing areas will not be available.
Are there
restrooms?
Yes, throughout the race venue.
Are there refreshment
stations?
Yes, every 2.5 km and at the finish line.
What is the timing
system?
Electronic chip in bib activated at start, checked every 5 km.
Will there be
photography/videography?
Yes, media coverage will be used by SFA and Riyadh Marathon.
Will there be medical
support?
Yes, medical staff will be available throughout the race.

What is in the Marathon
Village?
Food trucks, music, fitness activities, and entertainment for all ages.
Can anyone attend the
village?
Yes, open to everyone, including spectators.
